Bobby The Bat is a book I have written and Illustrated to help children that are dyslexic to understand that it is ok to feel all types of emotions about being dyslexic.

It follows Bobby, a baby bat, on his journey to pass a school test. Bobby is finding it difficult to study as he is dyslexic.  With the help and support of his friends and family Bobby will get through it.

I created this book because, when I was younger, I struggled with studying myself, as I am dyslexic.  I felt horrible and ashamed to be dyslexic, but with the support of my family, I am now proud to be who I am. I know some children would feel the way I felt, so I wanted to make something that would show them it is ok to be dyslexic and to be proud of who they are.
